The facilities at this park has been upgraded. A nice place for families to picnic for large gatherings who are needing to be close to Tampa. There are better options but the close proximity may be a motivating factor to take advantage.

Water was dirty. Very small area of sandy beach to walk. Nice for a sunset picture but that was all.

We stayed in the Double Tree Suites on Rocky Point for business. We were able to walk to this beach to put our toes in the sand. It is a small beach and very shelly(not soft), but worked for what we wanted. The water was...More

Although our 3 and 5 year olds loved this beach, my husband and I would have preferred to drive to the gulf. There IS sand and there IS water but it kinda smells and the water isn’t deep enough to really swim unless you are...More

The beach is very small in size but a perfect location to see the sunset. Ample parking (roughly $0.50 an hour) and right next to a restaurant. Not a beach to get in the water but more so to enjoy the view and for lovely...More

Not sure about that one but the beach is tiny and the sand can be unpleasant close to the water. I would find another beach to get married on
