My 4-hour fishing charter with Capt. Stewart Ames was a great experience. More that that my seven-year-old son, who can easily tire of an activity was telling me to stop Dolphin Spotting so we could fish for more Sea Trout. I never thought I'd hear that. Not only did we have a successful trip, catching a 34" Snook, but we... More

I would like to say I have fished with Captain Stewart Ames and Gone Fishing Charters and will return to fish with him every chance I can get. I would rather say catching rather than fishing. Took a short half day charter and we caught some of the nicest Snook I have seen in a very long time. With Capt.... More

We fished two days last week with Stewart Ames. The first day I had my grandson, son and daughter-in-law along and we fished for red fish and sea trout on St. Joseph Sound. My 8-year old grandson caught several fish, as did we all (kept a limit of redfish which we enjoyed at a local restaurant). The second day my... More

Thank you Captain Ames! Our experience was peaceful & very personable! He knows his fishing holes since everyone caught fish! We had a blast and made a great family memory. Five stars! Worth having the one on one guide and the great fishing stories are always fun to listen to.

Don't call anyone else! You can tell a great Guide many different ways. Boat, gear, attitude, attention to detail ect . Capt. Ames is definitely one of them. From the minute we left the dock he never stopped working to put us on fish. From exact locations to precise casting locations to chumming, he never stopped moving. He also has... More

Capt. Ames runs a fantastic charter! We have been fortunate to have traveled extensively and fished all over the southern coast and Caribbean Sea. This was the finest trip we have been on! We will definitely book another trip when we get back to Florida's gulf coast!

My son was scheduled to fly out for the holidays to spend time with the family. I chartered a fishing trip for him and myself. Upon meeting Captain Ames we knew we were with the right guy for the adventure. Capt. Ames knew the area and the fishing patterns very well; we had some much fun catching trout and then... More

If you want the fishing experience most people only dream about then Captain Stewart Ames is your man. The best boat and gear were used and not one minute was wasted. His energy and years of experience made this the best saltwater fishing day ever.

My son and I went out with Captain Stewart on July 13. We fished for four hours plus and caught some amazing Snook. Captain Stewart was terrific! Learned more about fishing in those 4 hours than my entire combined experience. Relaxed atmosphere and bites continuously throughout the time. Highly recommend! Worth every dollar!
