We really enjoyed the sponge docks and learning the rich history of the area. You can view a great video and see old pictures in one of the shops if you want to learn more.

Enjoyed the calm stroll along the docks and watch the sponge loads come off the boats and be sorted. Enjoyed geek cuisine across from the docks as well as cute gift shops. All can be done in a few hours.

One of my favorite spots in Florida. Lots of fun little shops and sponges galore. I suggest finding some homemade soap and catching a bite in one of the Greek restaurants.

Love this place, and I've been back three times now. It never gets old. The shop inside will refund your parking if you make a purchase. So charming.

Spend the day strolling the docks, checking out the sponges, visiting the shops with Greek goodies. And of course, eating at the Greek restaurants.
