Our visit to the park was informative and fun at the same time. Exploring the fort was fascinating as it was built back in the late 1800's. The park also features a great view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge at the southern most tip. There...More

I like to snorkel around the rocks at the base of the Gulf Fishing pier. Lots of fish to see! Come early or late for calm water, use caution especially if the tide is changing.

I believe it's $5 per car to enter. The beaches are pretty, and they go on forever. Reminds me of old Florida with sea oats and some trees. When you get out on the beach there, you really feel like you've escape everyday life. They...More

I've never to a more crowded beach in my life. You couldn't even move in the water. It was an insult to have to pay all the fees to get here.

The park is a beautiful place to visit. Everything was good except the men's showers and restroom located next to campsite #12. We camped for three nights so I had to use it but dreaded it. There is black mold covering the floor of the...More

This is a HUGE park, so it might be worthwhile to go more than once. We went to the North Beach, which has the advantage of being where the fort is, so you can get a little history in with your beach-time and nature exploration....More

There's so much to do here, it takes a bunch of visits: several beaches, campground, tons of free parking, good bathrooms, showers, playgrounds, snack bars with beach gear and souvenirs, visitor info center, fishing piers, pavilions - some with grills, the old fort, and most...More

The beach was very nice. The water was warm and clear. There was a lot of sea weeds until high tide came in around 5pm. I rented chairs and umbrellas. He was very helpful and nice. I was disappointed with service with food. I was...More

July weather is going to be Hot and humid everywhere in Florida. The fire pit is $3/ night or you can buy one there for $28.99 and keep it or bring your own - its just an aluminum bucket.
