Great views of the bay. Could fish from the pier if desired, but we didn't. There are two nice restaurants right there also and easy access to the beach. Clean and desirable area to visit.

Went to pier yesterday. The weather was beautiful on the pier. It is a must see while in Venice. The fishing is free with no license required! Can't beat that!

We visited the pier as part of our dinner visit at Sharky's (separate review available, great spot). This is set up nicely for the fisherman with running water and cleaning stations built in. Gift/snack shop right there too. Plenty of close, freee parking. Great views up and down the coast, worth a walk even if not fishing. TIP - go... More

Watch people fish off the pier as you walk to the end for a spectacular view of the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. When you walk back you will see Sharkey's Tiki Bar. Roam around the complex and see what is in the gift shop or take the elevator up to Fin's at Sharkey's for an upscale dinner.

This is a must see in Venice! You can go anytime, but might I suggest you get there about 30 minutes before the sunset.

Venice Fishing Pier has been a favorite of ours for years. The sunset view is amazing and the proximity to Sharkies for drinks and good food is perfect!
