Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing experience with our organizer Sujar, our guide Sar, and the fearless porter Raheem!
Day -1: We were picked up at the harbor coming from Gili by our driver Arya. Drove about 1h30 to the hotel. The room was clean, private, and had everything necessary.
Day 1: Started at 7h30 the following day after a banana pancake breakfast and coffee/tea. Stopped for an elaborate and fresh lunch at 12h, with rice, meat, egg, veggies, fruits, drinks! This repeated itself over the entire trip. Reached our camp at around 17h, with the camp set up and a snack ready to greet us! The tent was very comfortable and we did not feel any cold.
Day 2: wake at 2am to leave around 2h30, yo arrive at the summit for sunrise. Very steep and somewhat slippery climb, but totally worth it! We came back down the climb to the summit to a delicious pancake. Then as the group included another couple who was doing a 2 night trip, we went down with Raheem one of the porters as the guide continued the hike to the lake with the rest of the group. He was patient and waited for us even though we were getting a little tired. Later a car picked us up and drove us to pick up our luggage left at the hotel and they drove us to our next hotel on our journey.
Conclusion: Amazing experience, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great food ! I would 100% recommend them.

We met sujar in his homestay at Emy Caffee and he is a very nice and calm person.. we had lot of conversations about everything.
When you meet him you will understand that money is not everything for him, he wants you to be lucky!
He organised us a trekking tour to rinjani and it was beatiful, i really recommend him!

Sujar was very good at organising the tour, his company picked us up at the airport and welcomed us in his home the day before the trek, which has awesome views over the valley. He is algo very good to talk to and explains the tour very well. During the trek we felt we were being taken care of - i appreciated being in a smaller group of 6 people (plus guide and porters) compared to other bigger groups.

I went alone with a guide and porter from Sujar Rinjani company, that I recommand. Sujar is very careful and organised. He picked me up from the airport, arranged the night before at a guesthouse close by the start of the trek and after the trek he got me driver to take me to Bangsal's jetty. Don't hesitate to contact him, he is very reliable and helpful: sujarrinjani@gmail.com
The trek was a real challenge for me, as I'm not sporty at all!! I overestimated myself and it was quite hard for me to finish the whole trek! I couldn't go to the summit on day 2 as I was a slow trekker. It would have taken me ages to reach rim 2.
Day 1, I walked for about 9hours, when it generally takes 7hours. Day 2, it took me another 9hour (without going to the summit for the sunrise). Day 3, I walked for about 7 hours and with my wonderful guide Adi carrying my bag on the last part...
I wouldn't recommand the trek for someone not sporty like me ^^
Apart from that, the landscapes were amazing, the view breathtaking and my team incredible!
