My boyfriend and I spent three nights at the Creekside Campground this past weekend. Even at full capacity this campground was quiet and relaxing. There is enough space and foliage between the sites that you do not feel as if you are on top of...More

My sister and I visited this lovely State Park yesterday (I wanted to pick up some walking stick medallions while visiting her). We found it to be a beautiful place! Awesome overlooks, nice hiking trails, a cute little lake and a nice little park store!...More

I've been visiting this park for 25 years. It's a little gem no matter the season. In the summer there is the lovely little lake and beach and putt putt golf (and temperatures often 10 degrees cooler than in Atlanta). The lake is also a...More

Wow! How can the scenery in the same park change so frequently? The view, the terrain, the grade, the bears! Well marked with frequent blazes. We were exhausted and thrilled. Best trail I've ever hiked!

We visited this on Memorial Day weekend. It was a day trip. We did three hikes. The lake is nice and the hike to CCC tower is a good one. It was a pleasant outdoor trip.

We rented Cabin No 6 during our kids' spring break this past April. We took our 50lb dog and since the cabin was a pet-friendly cabin, I was expecting a dive of a room, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ca in was updated, well-furnished...More

Check in was easy and fast. The staff was helpful and friendly. The camp site was very wooded and large. You were almost too isolated. They helped the bath house and grounds very clean. I would give the camping area a 4 star. The lake...More

No food on the mountain. Try some of the local, nonchain places in town.
