Learned a lot about something I knew little of. Small museum but easily interactive self guided tour. Very enjoyable and informative. Recommend, especially if you are visiting your soldier, gives you all a nice thing to do together.

I have been here many times and always enjoy it. The special events are off the chain. Loved the Ghost tour and the Ladies Tea was fun and informative.

It is a real historical site with real artifacts that bring out the history of this interesting little town and explains a lot about it, too. They do a Halloween ghost tour there that is always booked, because it is so cool. Definitely worth it.

Great history lessons to the Naval battles of the Civil War. Great information from both sides. They have an old Confederate ship which is nicely preserved.

Tour guides were dressed for the occasion and very knowledgeable. History well preserved and interesting. Large group not a problem. Ghost tour to be that night - but think I heard a bell twice - guide not surprised! Our forefathers were amazing!!
