I had heard of this park in the past while staying at the nearby Cordele KOA. While staying there for Christmas, I was determined to check it out. I had read somewhere that they had a plane or two on display. However, I was pleasantly surprised at what they had on hand. There was an inside museum with artifacts from... More

We were in Cobb County last weekend for a wedding and just happened to see this place when driving by. After riding around for a bit, I wish we had known about it before as we would have stayed here instead of in a motel. Thomas the Train was there on the short line railroad this weekend so it was... Nice, quiet, clean campground. Convenient to I 75. Easy in and out, oversized sites. A lot of pine trees for shade. Restaurant nearby

We were part of a group of 24 who came to play golf, spend the night, and play golf again. The course was in real good shape. It has some challenging holes but all and all a relatively fair course for those with average golf skills. We stayed in the lodge which appears to have been recently remodeled. Bed was... More

We traveled here in our Class C motorhome with our dog. Luckily, we were able to get a lake site since they don't allow reservations on specific sites. The camp host were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. We've already made reservations to return. 😊

Stayed at resort located in park and also golfed there. Course is in good shape although, there didn't seem to be a Marshall to remind folks of cart rules. Pretty straight course with a few challenging holes.

A little bit of everything here...camping, history, disc golf, nature hikes, beach, picnic areas...all very well maintained. In our travels we have found the people in the Cordele are super friendly and hospitable. We have camped here twice and plan on coming back to stay at the resort as well as ride the train. Great place!!!

One of the nicer state parks we have visited. Some sites even have cable TV. Plenty of spaces for larger RV's. Big treat - ride the train out to Plains, Ga.
