As a Walt Disney World Cast Member and resident of Orlando FL, my standards are somewhat high when it comes to any sort of attraction and this did not disappoint! The tour was very cool and our tour guide Dolan (Nolan?) was phenomenal. Very informative...More
Had a great time. I learned a lot and have fun doing it too. Nic was a great guild and made us laugh. For a ticket price you get the tour and also pan for gold. Panning is harder than it looks, but fun.Nic recommended...More
Don’t let the Walmart fool you. This place was and still is a little pice of history tucked away behind a large Walmart Super Center. All the activities (gem mining and panning for gold are really enjoyable. But nothing compares to the mine tour. If...More

Thoroughly enjoyed touring this underground coal mine. Our guide was well-versed and detail oriented. I was amazed at the degree of danger routinely faced by those minors back during that era. We highly recommend this an expensive her.

The mine isn’t active. When we went we were (that’s a lot of w’s) given pans with the sand in it. I can’t say if the gold is added or natural to the sand. Everyone in our party got something to take as a memento... More
