Enjoy a visit with your family to the Red Apple Barn near Ellijay in the North Georgia mountains. Pick apples, pumpkins, flowers, play games or have a picnic. In our farm store, try our apple pies, fritters, bread, caramel and candied apples, jams&jellies and cider. The farm has been in the family since 1927. Hours are Monday-Saturday from 9am-6pm and Sunday 12-4:00pm. Call for U-Pick times.

The barn was closed for picking but we still enjoyed visiting and purchasing fresh apples. The service was great and so were the apples!

When the pies are in Saran wrap and have a price sticker on them, that's not a good sign. Meanwhile, at some of the other places, you can actually see them being made. The shop is smallish but has same stuff at the other places....More

This is a really small place. Many of the apples were bruised. Because it's open air, there were a lot of flies as others wrote. We will pass on our next visit to the area.
