Took the tour yesterday and had Cathy as our guide. She was awesome, knowledgable and entertaining. You can buy All faiths church and Rockerfeller house, Indian mound, tickets for $10. Worth it if you like history.

After 5 trips to Jekyll Golf Club, still find the three 18-holers (including Indian Mound) to be less fun and not as interesting as the historic 9-holer Great Dunes. Jekyll natives know it is the hardest 9 holes on the island, but the relaxed vibe is great, the ocean view from #5 green is worth the cheap greens fee itself,... More

Those Rockefeller's knew how to live. This is not as grand as their other homes but has simplistic beauty. An antique phone is at the entry of the building which made a historic phone call and a red small car that the family used for joy rides on the beach. The mound in front of the building was used by... More

The size of Mrs. Rockefellers' bedroom was stunning. I particularity was impressed with her bathroom with the double faucets for well water and salt water. Gorgeous home.

This was a tad disappointing as it amounted to a pedestal and brass plaque in the front yard of a beautiful cottage.

Nice course, in good shape, not too busy and not expensive. We played as a foursome in under 4 hours. The bar was nice and had 4 draft beers. A good time was had. Recommended

Huge beautiful home with great views. This was a stop on the tram tour. Everyone has to see a house like this and view how big the rooms are and how small the servants rooms are. See the steamer trunk used to bring the clothes for the winter months.

This is so amazing, to see all the history preserved. Simply beautiful. I can not wait to share all the pictures with my Momma. I would so love to have lived in back in that time.

Indian Mound Cottage is the winter vacation home of the Rockefeller's at the turn of the century. Stop on the Historic Tour of Jekyll Island. This is one "cottage" that stands and is restored to it's original beauty. During the tour you are able to tour both main floors and upstairs. Mounted outside the cottage is a replica RedBug. The... Great stop on the Historic Tour, absolutely one of the best glimpses into one of the American Royal families in the Golden Age.
