Jekyll has added a lot of enhancements to the beach areas, with more parking and more bathrooms and showers. This one also has nice picnic and grill areas. Lots of parking for no additional charge, since you already paid 6.00 to get on the island....More

This beachside public park has very good paved parking lots, pavilions, nice restrooms and bike paths. Beach access is over the elevated wooden bridges over the dunes. The beach is very nice. There is also a golf course and miniature golf course across the street.

We always like to visit the Jekyll Island beach front. It is more private than other beaches. It also has wonderful facilities like beach houses with restrooms and showers. Unfortunately, this year, we found the sea water to be very muddy in parts.

If your on the island, i would recommend driving the whole beachview drive, it's not that long. There is parking at each beach access point, and tihe parking is free. Unlike Tybee Island.

Beautiful sand dunes. Gorgeous dog friendly beach with lots of "pet stations" so no one has reason to not keep it clean and pristine.

Lots of picnic places and shaded areas. It is a large park. We were only at one end. There was only one shower that we saw outside. There were restrooms with changing rooms. Public beach access with plenty of parking

We had a great time at this beach. It was not crowded at all while we were there. Clean and good family atmosphere. We would definitely go back to this beach.

I had not been to Jekyll Island and had little preparation for where to go. I had a kayak tour scheduled but had time to kill so I went to this park to decide what to do next. I was able to park, use a...More
