It's Gwinnett County's greatest cultural landmark. This theater is not only beautiful and cozy, it's one of the great community theaters in the U.S. For those of you who live in the north Atlanta, you've got to try this place. The theater is not only...More

My mother and I went to our very first play, "Split in Three" (only because my class for college made me). We arrived and saw they had taco tastings and also served wine. We looked at how long the play would be and was already...More

I have enjoyed every performance I have seen there. I have never been to Broadway but I feel this theater and their fine performers could fit in right there with those Broadway shows. My friends and I enjoy all of the fine dinning experiences there...More

My wife and I met friends to have dinner in the square and we then walked over to the Aurora for a really good play. Not the first time we have enjoyed both in Lawrenceville and it won't be the last.

Local art at it's finest. The intimate venue is a wonderful place to see a play. Some very talented performers and a lovely evening.

We have been seeing plays at Aurora for several years. My favorite still is Les Mis (yes, they did that.) Small theatre, excellent directors, actors, can no say enough good things about it.

One of the reasons I love this theater is the fact it is my neighborhood. I don't have to drive into downtown Atl. To be honest I like the comedy nights-my fav.

The Aurora Theatre was once a small, run-of-the-mill, struggling, barely professional theater company, in Duluth. In later years, after relocating to Lawrenceville, complete with a beautiful new mainstage theater, a separate studio theater space, and a multi-level covered parking garage, they have become one of...More

I've been coming to the Aurora Theatre for several years. I've been here for plays along with comedy acts. Quality of the performances is always good. Adjacent parking deck is nice. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, to visit either before or after the performance....More

At only 250 seats, there are no bad seats. About halfway up in the center are the most popular.
How long is the current play (Vanya & Sonia & Masha...)?

It ran for about 2 1/2 hours and had a 15 minute intermission. It won a Tony award in 2013. I found the second act faster moving than the first.
