Beautiful afternoon visit. Loved the story of how Rock City was established. Definitely enjoyed a cold glass of Seven States beer at the observation deck. It was created by a local brewery just for Rock City & the day we visited was their first day to serve it! Relaxing visit.

Rock City is beautiful all year around, but my favorite is at Christmas when everything is decorated, lights everywhere, hot chocolate with Santa, a wonderful experience!

Rock City is a unique experience. The most favorite part of the experience was walking through the different paths and trails along the way. You do not just walk on a sidewalk through Rock City. The paths are all different and naturally made. The paths would be difficult for people with mobility issues. The view of 7 states at lookout... More

Only giving it 4 stars because the waterfall was closed. I would recommend visiting when the colors are in full bloom. It is absolutely beautiful and will be even better when the flowers bloom and on a sunny day. I bet is is nice in the fall too! It was not crowded when we went which made it more enjoyable.... More

We were there for the St Patrick's Day celebration (Shamrock City). The waterfall was green, bagpipers, costumed characters and nice Irish music in the pavilion. The hike was nice, the activities for kids looked fun. Enjoyable day!

Rock city is a very fun place to discover. We enjoyed all the park has to offer. I cant say enough about the rock formations or the waterfalls. The view of 7 states from the eagles nest is absolutely phenominal. You have to see for yourself!

I have traveled the world and this was such a great find. I brought my 8 year old with me who had a great time walking across the swinging bridge and discovery all the hidden coves. It was absolutely beautiful here and I had a great time taking it all in. There is a lot of stairs so it could... More

My family of 2 adults, 14 and 7 all really enjoyed Rock City! We went at opening on a weekday and that gave us time to hike the rock gardens without feeling rushed. As others have said, there are some very tight places so please be mindful, a very large person will not get through. The views are so beautiful,... More

We came during our spring break week during record breaking cold for mid March. Even so, rock city was well worth it. The natural rock formations were fun to see up close. The maps left something to be desired, but paths were painted with strips of red, yellow, green etc., therefore were easily followed. Each lookout area had great views,... More
