Well organized, very knowledgeable and friendly staff in a breathing setting in beautiful Rome, GA. We will be back with visitors from overseas in the summer months. So much Martha Berry history to discover. Beautiful landscape and a well maintained garden. This home of Martha Berry and museum and the most outstanding places to visit in Georgia. Nowhere have I ever seen history preserved and presented to the public as this location. History is here.

Oak Hill is a very interesting place to visit. We had a student guide who gave us more history than we could have imagined. Since it was only my wife and I on the tour we were able to take extra time to look around. I would recommend this stop for anyone while in Rome.

Oak Hill and Berry College are must see place in Rome, Georgia. Scenes from the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" were filmed at Oak Hill. The tours are amazing. They tell you the history of the entire home, and Martha Berry's life. There is also a film to watch in the Vistors center. After attending Oak Hill, drive down the road... More

Martha Berry was an incredible woman. The more you see at the museum and her home the more you will want to know about her life; and Berry College. The curators have done a remarkable job collecting and displaying all of her history. I recommend you tour the museum and her house first. Then take a ride through the Berry... More

If you are in or near Rome, GA, take a trip to see the Martha Berry Museum. We had a great tour guide that really took the time to show the house and grounds. Martha Berry was an outstanding person and it was great to learn more about her.

We were just going to drive around the campus, having been there years ago for a wedding, then saw a sign for this. Enjoyed learning about this amazing woman. Personable tour guide

While visiting friends in Tennessee, decided to take a day trip to Rome, Georgia and visit Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum. An excellent decision on our part! Arrived at the museum and was greeted by a couple of students. After a short but informative video about the history of Martha, we enjoy a short golf cart ride to... More
