You gain access to this museum as part of the fee that you pay to visit the lighthouse. The museum is well designed and the exhibits are informative.

Nice for travelers to find out a lot in short amount of time on early days of our wonderful country. It's sister Lighthouse is a must see. Shop is great too for taking home a few gifts.

The center offers a great insight in the history of the Coast Guard. It also offers a 20-minute educational video. Perfect for families with kids, and you are allowed to climb into the crow's nest which offers stunning ocean views!!!

Great tour of the Coast Guard station. It came with our trip to the light house. Very informative and beautiful to see.

Not a lot to see at the Maritime Center. Main attraction was climbing to the top of the watchtower. The lighthouse museum is way better.

I was hoping for more artifacts but all there were was posters giving information. The climb to the outlook was challenging but the view was nice.

The price of admission for the St. Simon Lighthouse is also good for this location. It is a very nice place to visit....won't take long but should do it when you are on St. Simon. Friendly staff to help you.
