The Sandy Springs Museum, maintained and operated by Heritage Sandy Springs is well worth a visit. The exhibits are always fresh and cast a bright light on the history of the Sandy Springs area. Lots to see and there are exhibits and hands on attractions for kids as well. And you cannot beat the price of admission: free!

We visited on a rainy afternoon and where glad we did. It was fun to learn about our neighborhood. Donations are welcomed and the staff was friendly.

This is a small, but really well done local museum! The exhibits are modern and interesting. The greeters are friendly and no pressure. It is in a park so it is a fun place to visit before or after a nice walk or picnic. I always take out of town visitors and they love it.
