I live near Stone Mountain Park and visit the park often with my family. The best part is the light show which is always free. It's a great way to spend a day of fun with your kids without spending a lot of money. The fourth of July is my favorite time to visit. If you are in the area... More

If you like outdoors, history and nature this is a fun place to visit. The hike up is great, but drink a lot of water if it's hot. This is an intersting place to just hike and see the nature, the views, and learn all about the area.

We recently took our 8 year old grandson to Stone Mountain Park. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We enjoyed all of the attractions and especially Snow Mountain that they have in the winter. You could slide down the snow bank individually or as a group in a large tube. For a few minutes you forget that you are not... More

We enjoyed the park. Kids had a blast. Historical things to see, safe hiking. Note: playground only for campers.

This is definitely a fun place to spend the day! Lot's to do! My 2 young children loved stone mountain and we walked down the mountain, they wanted to do it again but we just didn't have time.

My husband and I went to Stone Mountain while on vacation. My husband is from MI so he has missed out on a real Christmas with snow since he moved here to Fl. I wanted to take him here to enjoy the snow. I bought the tickets on sale during a flash sale. My husband loved the tubing! We went... More

While in Atlanta, it is worth the time to go out and see this park. Take the time and hike up to the Top, it is less than a 30 minute trek. It sure beats taking Gondola. Once on top, the views of the Atlanta area are very nice. The stone carving by the village is worth seeing, very unique.... More

We went for snow day... did some sledding, looked at Christmas lights, watched 4D movie, saw the snow angel. We ate at the marketplace- not bad, regular fast food... We had a great day. =)

I have been purchasing a yearly park pass for a few years. It is well worth the money if you make it there over three times. It is a wonderful park with lots of free family things to do once you buy the parking pass. Plenty of exploring on trails, picnic areas, etc.
