The view from the top of Stone Mountain is stunning. I took the sky ride, but you can also walk. The views are unlimited according to the weather. There is restrooms and a snack bar. Well worth the price.

Skyride gondola is a great way to view the mountain as well as the countryside surrounding the mountain - can even see the Atlanta skyline from the top. Skyride can be purchased separately (not offered on-line unless you purchase the "Attractions Pass.")

Yes, absolutely the baby and children, and adults, and wheelchairs, and service dogs... can all ride the SkyTram in the same safety and enclosed cab. The wind blows through ventilation panels in the bottom of the windows. There are a few seats along the edges. Poles are spaced evenly around the cab and straps hang from the ceiling like a cable car (on which the SkyTram is modeled). My kids like to balance in the middle or "surf." Tram Drivers notify passengers when the tram crosses a certain point and will rock more than it has during the rest of the trip.
