This Mosque is considered to be the third largest in the Balkan peninsula. Still, the structure is largely neglected and is deteriorating. Entrance is not allowed, so one can only have a glimpse of the building from the outside. Nevertheless, the mosque is very beautiful...More

If you are in the center of Razgrad, you can't miss this impressive structure. That said, it's all walled off and unavailable to visit. Don't make a special trip, but worth a stop if you are in the town square

The Mosque is really beautiful. It's a gem hidden from the main touristic routs in Bulgaria. It's condition is quite neglected and you are definitely not supposed to get inside.

While the rest of Razgrad is being extensively renovated and cleaned, the mosque is sadly in need of repair. It was closed when we visited.

Beautiful old Turkish architecture. Sadly it is closed. Through windows you can see inside some decorative elements. Close to this Mosque you can visit the Old Clock Tower and the Local market (Pazar).
