This is the land of a former Southern Plantation called Pebble Hill. No antebellum buildings exist on the property. The family cemetery of the original owners is on the grounds. Little to no information on antebellum history was given. I wished I had asked why,...More

Step back into oust-Civil War chapter of creative survival in obscure southwest Georgia. Magnificent plantation house and numerous out-buildings on vast manicured landscape. Remarkable docents, Comfortabe pace. Handicapped accommodating.

I was taken back when they stated that no children under 6 could enter the main house. I think this is ridiculous and offensive. I understand that there may be some children that do not behave appropriately but why label every child as a problem...More

Epic display of the wealthy lifestyle. Even the cows and horses lived in luxury. Our guide Ann, very knowledgeable.

beautiful plantation with a rich history. Staff does a great job of getting you to feel what life was like when the plantation was working. It is also easy to explore without staff and beautful to see.

We took the house tour which was guided, thorough, and very informative. The grounds are expansive with a self guided tour. You need to be up for a walk to see them but they are beautiful.

This Plantation is quite interesting. It is mostly a self guided tour, except for the house. The guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Every staff member we encountered was very good. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
