This is well worth a visit. My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting 'The Crescent ' . This beautifully restored building gives a glimpse into the past. Barbara was both passionate and informative. A historical must for any visit to Valdosta.

We attended a wedding at The Crescent. It was a lovely event venue. The family used Covington's as their caterer. The whole afternoon and evening was delightful. We were able to walk on the grounds and though the house. Lots of local history.

There is no cost for the visit. They ask for a voluntary contribution at the end of the guided tour to fund the house expenses. The tour is offered once you go into the house itself.
