We arrived off season. Because they closed early. Nothing to see at the time. Though paid for a short train ride. Probably a volunteer run organization. Requiring donations and sponsorship to operate. Repairs were being made throughout.

We saw an interesting film before touring the museum. Items were well displayed and explained. Then we took the railroad ride through the beautiful property. The staff was very friendly. A very nice way to spend an hour or two.

Nice walking trails. The museum, train and gold panning were not opened on Sunday. I think the web site indicated they were open, but it was not clear how limited the options would be.

I don't remember seeing any picnic tables but they had benches along the trails.
