Nice Trail

Several loops here and a few small waterfalls. Loop lengths vary for all hiker levels. Clear trail markings and well maintained

I did a beautiful fall hike in the Wolf's Den Trail going from the west end to the east end. The west half is mostly upland hardwoods with well marked trails in great condition. Hiking on a beautiful weekend day I only encountered three other groups of hikers on the western half. The waterfalls and the "Wolf's Den" are on... More

Most of these trail link together so take a map. Parking was 5 dollars cash. Trails are well marked. Not too strenuous but enough to get the heart going certain areas

This well maintained and marked trail does have lots of uneven terrain, boulders, streams, and tree roots to climb and hike through. The kids loved it but grandmama not so much. The FDR state park ranger recommended hiking to the Cascade falls and back for 5 waterfalls and 4 miles but did warn us it had some tough parts. We... More

We are from fort Benning and enjoy going to North GA / AL / TN and hiking the mountains this hike serves as a quick get away and a way to stay conditioned for the mountains. It is 8 miles with a few hundred feet of elevation gain and some cool little bridges, waterfalls and scenery. I even saw 2... More

Hiked wolfden loop trail for our first back packing trip and stayed at Bumblebee campsite. Beautiful, easy to moderate trail with some small waterfalls. The Georgia heat in June wasn't too bad, the trail provides sufficient shade and the cascade falls offer a great place too splash some water on your face and cool off!

Best enjoyed from the Rocky Point trail entrance. Park the return ride at the WJSP. Make sure you get the parking permit. Take water. Best enjoyed in the spring and fall. Summer too hot and winter too wet.

The hike started out with the waterfalls in the first 3 miles. There was hardly any vista views, so the hike is mainly woods view.

Went here with the kids and had a great time walking the beautiful Pine Mountain trail. The trail is relatively easy but has many nice views and some water features on it. The spring is a great time with the cooler temps and some trees in bloom plus most kids can handle the mostly level trail with ease. Highly Recommended!

My husband and I hiked the loop this past weekend. It is a very well maintained trail and well marked so route finding is easy. You can access it from either by TV tower off of 190/Pine Mountain Hwy at the Rocky Point pull out. We started from Rocky Point and hiked it clockwise. The TV Tower parking lots was... More
