I do love this state run park but as stated previously the cost of admission is a bit steep for what you get. All rides are an additional cost. It is beautiful and presented well. Definitely geared towards the younger children.

Nice little park for a tourist experience. Place is well suited for group and family trips. Nature center, displays, trails and boat/train rides. Park can handle disabled folks on all but the narrow board walk to the observation tower. See your gators in the wild...More

This park is handicapped friendly,plenty of short concrete path's,benches,shade.The boat ride has two men to assist in getting in/on and getting back off safely,the boats are wide and very stable.The train ride is open air... More

Early April won't be as Bad as Mid July !! I would bring spray Just In Case !!!
