Very pleasant scenic trail. Great for walking, jogging, or biking. The only complaint is of the duck poop that is all over the pavement in most parts of the trail. I felt like I was playing hop-scotch trying to avoid those piles of poo. Besides that, it was a great leisure walk following the river.

The Boise River Greenbelt system consists of miles of paved and graveled paths. Two special paths are designated "bike free" zones and are safe for toddlers, strollers, wheel chairs and for those with walking assistance devices. Both of these paths are uneven and someone should assist those with poor balance. The Bethine Church path is on the south side of... More

You can walk, run, bike, or rollerblade the whole length or just a section. In town it can get a little congested but East of the city is the best part, all the way to Lucky Peak.

The green belt has great views, and t trails are well kept and rounding around roads or under roads making it easy to get in distance.

The Boise River Greenbelt is an awesome place to walk, run or bike! Much of the Greenbelt runs along the Boise River and through the heart of downtown Boise with local attractions, restaurants and parks along the way!

The Greenbelt follows the Boise River for miles, from the Lucky Peak Dam all the way into the huge parks in downtown Boise. It's shady and cool, and goes right through some of the coolest parts of the city. It's great for fishing, dipping your feet in the water, birdwatching, and just enjoying the sounds and smells.

Just being honest. I have only lived here for 10 months and just happened to be here for the worst snowfall in 25+ years. That being said, every... single... day... I would go bike riding with my client on the greenbelt. And every single day it was so beautiful and so worth it. You get exercise, fresh air, and A... More

The Greenbelt is a fabulous way to enjoy nature of Southern Idaho, and still be only minutes from the Comforts of downtown. Running along the river and the outskirts of Boise, the green belt offers wonderful views of the mountains, nice Trails through the woods, and an excellent opportunity for jogging or simply a quiet hike. If you are even... More

The Greenbelt extends more than 20 miles along the Boise River and attracts pedestrians, bicyclists and river users. It provides access to some of the city's best parks: Julia Davis, Ann Morrison, Municipal. There's a wave shaper on the river next to Quinns Pond that attracts kayakers and swimmers. There are also a number of restaurants, picnic tables, benches, drinking... More
