Been here a bunch of time. It is so beautiful and just one of the funnest places to walk around. There is an awesome river that you can walk alongside or you can swim in it. There is also a little rope swing that you can swing off of into the river. I've really enjoyed this place.

Veterans Memorial is good for a quick picnic, or the whole day. It deserves to be explored, from the Vietnam Memorial to the many nooks and crannies along the Boise river. Large playground, lots of walking trails and swimming area and the chance to educate the kids about our Veterans. Bring your respect for the memorials and your energy for... More

My wife and I attended the Vietnam Memorial dedication for the fallen 217 soldiers and marines that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Having a long family history of members that served including our son who served in the US Marines including a tour in Iraq and a disabled vet, the memorial was that much more special. The area... Nice park, convenient to west State Street, plenty of paths and pretty trails that connect with Greenbelt. We have used it at times for drop off or pick up to give teens the opportunity to walk to or from another section of the Greenbelt without having to return to their starting place.

Veteran's park is on the Boise River, it is easy to get to from all over. There are picnic tables, lots of shade trees and a hop skip and jump to the Boise Green Belt and the Boise River. There are some things to look at, Veteran's Memorial and Wake Island Memorial. There are bathrooms as well.

It's a very nice park, spacious and well kept. Good playground, lots of open space and some picnic areas. It's right next to one of the prettiest areas of the greenbelt walking trails. Only downside is that there are always shady people hanging out there and the type of parents who yell and swear at their kids. We walked on... More

We attended a celebration of life held here last weekend and were really impressed by the park. It is in a great location that is easy to access and it is very well maintained. There is a great playground for the kids, lots of placed to have picnics, good restroom facilities, and tons of green grass. The only downside is... More

In the middle of a busy are is this park, but it still it nice right next to the Boise river. Has restrooms, tables, BBQ's and dog's allowed on leashes. Easy to find, right in nature but in the middle of a city.

Lots of grass and open space. Not in the best part of town so you do see a lot of undesirables just hanging around.
