Really cool park!

Very popular in the area, busy but never too crowded. Trails are great for walking running or cycling. Nice spot for all ages to enjoy!

I absolutely love this park. The view from the top of Camel's Back is my favorite of downtown Boise. Every time I visit, I have to hike this gem with my dogs!

My 7 year old nephew and I recently checked out Camel's back park. This park is a great place for anyone. It has a lot of trails to climb, lots of open space, a great playground and a outdoor fitness gym. Parking seems to be limited sometime due to its popularity, though the park didn't seem crowded even though the... More

We enjoyed a nice afternoon climbing around on the camel's back. The trails are well marked and not too steep. You need to wear tennis shoes or hiking boots, no flip flops. There is a great grassy area for playing and picnic tables available as well. We liked this park off the beaten path and enjoyed people watching along the... More

She went on a field trip here and LOVED it. She climbed the sand hill or whatever. She flew a kite they'd made at school. She went on a hike and watched a classmate make poor choices and fall in the stream/canal/waterway. She enjoyed the heck out of it!

This was a relaxing place for a family picnic. All ages enjoyed the short hike to the top. There are trails for the less energetic, and the younger ones can take the sand trail straight up the side of the hill. Great playground and facilities.

We waited until like 9pm when it had cooled off and then headed to the park to climb the hill. There were families everywhere enjoying the cooler evening and climbing up to the top to see the view. It is so so steep but so beautiful. Gotta go climb it and take in the view so you can say you... More

OK. Its a long hike to the top, but worth it. Bring a picnic basket and the kids. Tons of fun. Lots of people to visit with.

The park has a wide open green, great for playing games with a ball or Frisbee. The playground equipment is in good shape and good for kids of all ages. There is a bike "fixing" station with an tire air pump and tools if you need to adjust your bike. Bodybuilding.com recently installed equipment for working out. The hills behind... More

While my husband threw the balls for the dogs, I used the outdoor exercise machines to work my upper body.
