This is my favorite park in Boise. It is usually less crowded and is just a great place to kick back and relax. There is lots of shade on a cool day and is right along the river. Great for bird and people watching.

This older park has to be one of the most shady, child-friendly locations in Boise. They have a wonderful playground, plenty of space and trails. Picnic area and tables, plus, they're right next to the MK Nature Center and the Boise River.
