The terrain was so gorgeous that we hiked in misty rain part of the way. Get a map altho the trail is pretty well marked that you can find if with some critical thinking if you aren't quite sure. The rocks, the cliffs, the trees, the water...oh such a satisfying and beautiful nature experience. Do it!!!!

Enjoy easy family hikes & swims on Tubbs Hill right from downtown CDA at the waterfront park behind the CDA Resort Hotel complex. Bring your suit & towel from May to September and either lounge on one of the sandy beaches, sun on the rock cliffs or better yet dive in off the rocks and swim. Sunsets rock here too!

Did the full loop trail, and enjoyed it very much, but I think calling it easy is a stretch. Of course I am 55! It has many areas where rocks must be navigated, and seems to be more than 50% uphill! We did temporarily lose the trail by the houses at the last stretch...but picked it up after a brief... More

We were just in our regular shoes, and the trail is navigable. It was good to get out and see the lake from a higher vantage point. A nice experience.

Great ready walk around the lake. The walk is not demanding but is beautiful. There are a few areas around the trail to stop and just enjoy our hangout on the lake. Parking is a little odd as you have to look out for small side payoff areas. The trail is a loop so just find any place to start... More

Preserved public park in the heart of Couer d'Alene, right on the lake; easy stroll in tennis shoes. Main circuit takes about an hour to complete. Many nice side trails to secluded microbeaches, perfect for a brisk swim and picnic in warm weather. Definitely worth a visit year round.

This is an excellent hiking trail for novices. You get a little of everything, e.g. shade, sun lake views, etc. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow. There are few steep parts but they a not long or extreme. The best parts are the various step-outs that give you nice views of the lake and marinas. Be sure... More

A pleasant dog walking park on and above the lakeshore and marinas. Fun stroll on a sunny afternoon around the edges and over the top.

A must do, especially on a sunny fall afternoon. So nice to see the tribute to Scott Reed, who did so much to preserve the hill.
