Our friends live off the Centennial trail in Coeur d'Alene and it's always great to walk part of it. Very scenic and a paved path that is enjoyed by bikes, joggers and leisurely strollers.

never really busy and it's kept maintained. I used it a lot for bike riding though I have just gone for walk with the family. It's always been nice.

We rented bikes and road some of the N. ID Centennial Trail from Coeur d'Alene. What a view for a ride. There are benches to stop, rest and view, restrooms and water fountains along the path.

Wonderful trail to enjoy great views on the lake and Spokane river. You get a completely different perspective depending on what time of day you go. No need to be an athletic god to enjoy this trail -

Various different location to access the trail. Don't be surprise if you see wildlife and birds along the way. Most of our time on the trial has been on bicycles, but walking is also fun. Free Bathroom along the way. All types of views along...More

This is a very easy trail to walk, run or bike. There are both urban and natural scenes along the way. You can do a relatively short or London distance you can travel, by choice.

I rode around spokane valley on the trail, then took my bike and road around Coeur d'lene as well. Next year I will ride to spokane valley. This is a great way to keep up the fitness and explore a new riding trail.

I agree with JayRayBee's answer, also closer to town the Coeur d'Alene is lovely but much more expensive. In the Riverstone area there is also a Hampton Inn and it is closer to another biking path that is pretty nice as well... More
