We boat hear all summer. Size makes it mainly uncrowded and their are many launch sites. The main beach in Sandpoint is beautiful and popular.(somewhat crowded) Water is clear and quite cold. Fishing is marginal. Some really nice resorts. Check out Hope and Dover Bay

My family has a house here and it is the most peaceful place in the world. There is nothing like spending time here to unwind.

We visited Farragut State park and Pend Oreille lake last summer and we foresee a summer vacation there every year! The weather was great, lake was beautiful! We water skiied many days and always found calm water. Most days you could find glass clear in the middle of the day. We just returned from a trip to Mexico and what... More

Love the views from Faragut State Park across the lake to the mountains rising out of the water. Sometimes you can see mountain goats over there.

The sheer expanse of water, surrounded by tree covered hills; the air alone is worth the trip. I don't have a favorite season: they're all full of more activities and events than I can stand, and the spiritual aura which surrounds the Lake never fails me.

Camping on the water, what could be better? Clean, crisp water, beautiful scenery, unspoiled paradise...

Great fishing, but not as good as years gone by. some good place to boat up to eat. New restaurant, Del Lago, is a must. also the dish at Dover Bay. Water gets comfortable in July and August other times a little cold.

We traveled to Lake Pend Oreille for a couples getaway, and absolutely loved it. The lake is sheer beauty, with gorgeous sunsets. Fall colors are present in the trees.

Lake Pendorielle has something for everyone. It is the largest lake in Idaho and is so deep that the navey actually has a submarine base there! There are campgrounds in many locations around the lake and a beautiful city park right on the lake in Sandpoint. The longbridge that crosses the south end of the lake connecting highway 95 and...
