We have visited the museum 4-5 times as the shows have changes and have always found it well worth the time. In fact, looking for a weekend foray, we drove from Boise primarily to visit the current show regarding the American Revolution. As always, the...More

The museum is well curated with some nice local exhibits as well as a seasonally changing exhibit. Staff is almost too attentive if you've been traveling and don't want to talk but just want to zone out and look at exhibits on your own. Clean...More

Love! Love! Love! Very informative. I've visited this museum twice, and both times was impressed by the display and by the helpful docents.

All of the displays that the museum gets have been awesome. They are getting some pretty interesting history and the displays are arranged and labeled and you can spend quite a lot of time reminiscing. Come and see for yourself!

Special exhibit on the American Revolution with items from private collectors. Very well curated and had items appealing to all ages. Also had exhibit rooms on local history.

This is a small stand alone museum in downtown Idaho Falls. It is run primarily by doners, sponsors, and volunteers. They have nationwide traveling exhibits, plus a permanent exhibit of Idaho and area history. Prices are reasonable, and cover both exhibits.
