Very informative, interesting Museum. Has many facts about the Nez Pierce Tribe and the Horses they raised. Unfortunately, they don't display the Horses until April

We have had to visit the museum often because two granddaughters love horses. I like the history of the Palouse offerings.

You will enjoy it if you are interested in horses. The entrance fee is a "donation" and quite reasonable. Plenty of displays about appaloosas along with a video presentation.

This is a small museum, but well displayed. It has many artifacts that pertain to horses. It also has information about Native Americans. The video is very informative and educational. Staff was friendly.

The museum has plenty of history, but nothing that you can't find on the internet. It is just a regular museum, with nothing really special. The upside is that you can see some Appaloosas if you come at the right time.

The museum has been there forever and is worth a stop if you're a horse buff and especially love the breed and its history (and the Palouse in general). It's a short stop as it's actually a pretty small place and does not take long...More

The Appaloosa Museum is located on the Moscow-Pullman highway just on the west edge of Moscow proper. Ostensibly dedicated to the history of the Appaloosa horse, the museum touches upon several aspects of the breed including its long association with the Indians and horse shows....More

This museum is free but a donation is requested. The museum is very small but has a wonderful history of the Native Americans. I've visited many native American museums but this one seemed kind of special. There is a map that shows how the Native...More
