Lake Kurwongbah is always a beautiful place to picnic. They have undercover eating areas and BBQ's. The afternoon sun shines and makes the lake shimmer. Great place for young families to picnic.

This area is close to suburbia and yet you can feel you are in a little bit of paradise. The sunsets are stunning. Koalas can be found and the bird life is amazing. Kayaks are permitted on the lake
