Once you find the start of the trail from Barley it's a beautiful walk. The sign was completely hidden behind a shrub! granddaughter happily engrossed in finding the clues about the witches.Beautiful sculptures mysterious, spell binding even in the rain.

A great walk through the history of the Pendle Witches, beautifully done and suitable for old and young alike. Very informative and interesting, recommend the shop and a walk up the great hill and stay in Barley!

Long walk from wherever you choose to park to the actual trail. The terrain is hilly and stony so definitely not for people who aren't steady on their feet. Wouldn't recommend doing it when it is raining or has been raining recently. The sculptures are...More
