This area never fails to impress as it nearly always has different scenery through its wildlife population. Being a large lake it's a great place to walk, jog or stroll around whilst taking in the sights and sounds. It's a shame there isn't a decent...More

A wonderful rehabilitation of this Lake over the years, clear water, abundant birdlife in a wonderful natural setting. A great place to roll out a picnic blanket otherwise take a casual or brisk walk around the perimeter of the lake in a wonderful fresh environment.

Despite the noise of the freeway alongside the lake it is very well cared for and maintained and makes for a very pleasant walk. We had to walk through a thick haze of midgies at the Lake Monger Drive end of the lake, but as...More

Lake Monger is larger than expected lake with lots of parking and plenty of walking space to enjoy the surrounding area. There were swans and ducks on the Lake and it seemed a good place
