Very nice old style theater with balcony and the whole shebang

I live local and have been to the Panda several times... It's the kind of theater you don't see anymore. They offer local talent, concerts, special viewings of movies etcetera... read more

I live local and have been to the Panda several times... It's the kind of theater you don't see anymore. They offer local talent, concerts, special viewings of movies etcetera... worth going just for the architecture and Ambiance... Very cool

This restored theatre is a highlight of living in Sandpoint. They show a wide variety of current movies, plays, performers and have recently implemented dinner theatre. I encourage anyone visiting Sandpoint to try to attend at least one event in the theatre.

The panda is a theater just like people went to in the 50's and 60's and the. Shows are great. Esp like it when the Missoula children,s theater comes to town and does a performance

Having lived here for 25 years (and having danced on stage, and watched my kids dance, too!) I still get a thrill everytime I enter the doors. It's like stepping back in time! For a comfy and romantic experience, head up to the balcony (no food, tho) and sit in the red velvet loveseats. This building is the pride of... More

I've been attending events at the Panida for several years, my favorite being the Banff Film Festival that highlights films on mountain culture. The atmosphere of this theater is the best there is, people are friendly, and the varieity of entertainment thoughout the year is top notch. Love this place, its the one place I miss the most since moving... More

Went to a Christmas Matinee - stylish old theatre with a great vibe. Loved the entire experience. Everyone should see a movie in a theatre like this at least once.

The Panida Theater is home to many different events - theater, dance, music and more - in the lovely small Sandpoint, Idaho community. Right in the middle of downtown, it hosts amazing events - local film festival, a foreign film series, and local Arts Council series, world-class performers, theater (both local and professional), local school choir and dance concerts, and... Set in downtown Sandpoint, the Panida is a community gem. They attract acts ranging from music to dance to theater to documentary films.

My wife is a Sandpoint native, and she's often told me about the Panida Theatre. I've walked past it many times on visits to Sandpoint, but never, until recently, had the chance to go inside. In July, we had the opportunity to see one of the local amateur dramatic companies perform The Wizard of Oz, so I finally got to... More

The theater is beautiful and well preserved. They have a little refreshment counter manned by very personable locals. They serve local artisan brews and wine. Casual, eclectic, local color. We have loved every event we've attended and look forward to the next. A must see in Sandpoint!!!
