Well-preserved original church. Simple design and settling. Really good interpretive signs describing its history and that of the Indigenous Stoney Peoples.

Absolutely beautiful location for a small, very intimate wedding service in a place with some genuine historical significance. About 50 minutes from Calgary, just a...More

Very lovely, well preserved historical church. Not in Banff as many others say. A little off the beaten path if you're heading from Banff to Calgary but worth a stop. It was actually on our way to the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary.

The Memorial United Church is a Gothic Revival church built in 1927. I loved the modified Tudor half-timbering and a locally-quarried stone base. The stained glass windows were interesting showing the founding denominations and biblical scenes.
