We went to 3 restaurants and 2 bakeries. They were all good except the last restaurant BBQ King House we couldn't sit down inside so we had to eat outside standing. That was the only drawback. This 3 hour tour is well worth it as you get to sample different Chinese foods and learn about the Chinatown area history. Our... More

Had a great time. Tour guide was interesting and very sweet. She had a lot of knowledge of Chinatown. I really liked the walking part where we went through the neighborhood and stopped at a park. It was nice getting to try dishes that I would not normally have tried. One of the stops where we tried the Peking duck... More

This was a fantastic tour! My first time in Chicago and I'm so glad I did this tour and was able to sample great food, learn a lot about the neighborhoods and support small businesses. Amber and Jessica were incredible tour guides, energetic, knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend this

I was nervous about choosing a food tour in Chicago as there were a lot to select from. Best in Chow was a fantastic tour and the perfect decision. There were 15 people in the group but it felt intimate and the pace was great. Rachel was our guide and she was fantastic. I've been on food tours before but... More

I've done several tours with Chicago Food Planet: 3-1-chew, Chinatown Adventure (twice!!), and most recently, World's Fare. And once again, I was super impressed with the knowledge of the tour guide, the pace of the tour, and the variety, quality, and quantity of the food. I've done food tours in other cities and with other companies in Chicago, and Chicago... More

Great tour led by Rachel and Terry - in addition to very generous samples (I didn't need to eat anything the rest of the day), we got some history and architecture thrown in. The restaurants were iconic, not necessarily 'touristy' - which was what I wanted to try. Great value for money, fun, and delicious. Will try another of their tours... More

We have visited Chicago a few times but we never seem to experience the local flavor. My sister-in-law who lives North of the city, suggested we try the food tour with Chicago Food Planet. Our guide was Jackie and she introduced us to the true flavor of Chicago on the Classic Second City tour. We started with Chicago Pizza, tea,... More

Allie was our incredible guide on our food tour today. What a great variety of tastings! This was clearly a very well thought out tour, with enough food to fill you up, but enough walking to still be ready for more! I'll definitely be taking another tour next time I find myself in the "Second City"!
