Though the park itself is above the average Chicago park, it cannot really be enjoyed on a weekend, especially during warmer months as it is overcrowded with inner city folk that seem to completely take over the park and nearby forest preserve area with charcoal...More

this is a good park to go sledding in the winter it has a nice hill or if u choose to swim in the summer they have a decent size pool
