My sister and I happened upon this little spot on a Sunday evening and decided to watch the Jazz band for the evening. We had so much fun! The atmosphere is authentic and lively. We paid a $10 cover charge and were seated right away. Our waiter (Alex) was quick and fabulous--she was also very sweet! The drinks were delicious... More

It is a good place to seat and listen a great music and eat a good food. I've been there twice and could come back again if I had time. Relax and feel the music in your soul ....to remember forever.

Went here on three occasions during my visit to Chicago. One of the door men was not that welcoming. The other night there was somebody else and was very polite. Nice atmosphere and really nice to watch the musicians play and listen to the beautiful music. Some tables are very close to the band so might be food idea to... More

We've been to Chicago, too many times to count. This is the first time, we ventured to Andy's, and we had such a GREAT time. Yes, the have a cover charge, but this is for the musicians, which is understandable. They only accept cash at the door, so I was lucky my wife had a few dollars. The service was... More

We went with another couple to see the later early riser jam session. The music was terrific. The young kids got to sit in for a couple of numbers each. All were talented and made for an interesting evening. The strongest number was a jumping version of Caravan. bravo! One of the bars that gives you a full pour of... More

Last year, went to several "jazz bars" in Chicago, but for the most part they were really blues or Motown type of bars (although really good nonetheless, just mislabelled). This is a true jazz club. Saw two great ensembles. Pepperoni pizza for dinner, and the wine, were really good. Service OK, not great. I had a reservation a few days... More

I thought it would be fun to listen to some live jazz at dinner and the fact that the cover charge went directly to the musicians was nice. By 7:30 pm they had run out of all salads. The place was maybe 20% full. How do you run out of salads. After the first band played they said it would... More
