If you're looking for a Chicago walking tour that is fun, inspiring and inexpensive, you are looking at the right place!

I'm Margaret, 10-year veteran tour guide, comedian and your personal insider to this awesome city. My 20-year improv experience guarantees that you will get a tour that is entertaining, full of awesome stories and info and not your average scripted recitation. I work hard to make sure my facts are spot on and I promise you I've never given the same tour twice, each group has it's own personality. I keep my groups small and my ideas BIG. Check out my site for more tours and let me know if you have any questions about your trip to Chicago! (Oooh, you can do a private tour too! Just ask!)

Margaret is very informative, entertaining, and passionate about her City and its quirky, yet surprisingly usable pedway system. Whether you are a long time citizen or a visitor, Chicago elevated is time well spent; but remember, do not call The Marshall Field building Macy's, no matter what the banners and displays announce! Take this tour and you will know what... More

This is a Chicago tradition that is worth the wait and... More

Margaret is one of the very best tour guides I've ever had the pleasure of being guided by. She's theatrical, she's funny and she makes you think differently about Chicago. She was so good, we went back for another tour a couple of days after our first one. Her commentary on the Chicago Cubs' win and the election were not... More

Margaret is a bag full of knowledge full of energy and thinks outside the box. Great tour I took with her today called Inside the Loop, a tour of buildings inside the Chicago Loop. Great experience and she took us to some very interesting places you would never think of which are right in front of you but you never... More

What a unique and fun tour this is. From the start we could tell that Margaret is no ordinary tour guide. She is incredibly up-beat, personable, and fun. It was interesting to hear her describe the five miles of underground walking tunnels, where a variety of merchants can be found. This is a perfect activity for inclement weather.

Did the Pedway tour and loved it! Saw a part of the city I wouldn't have otherwise plus got some great insights on what it means to live in Chicago. Lots of laughs too!

Margaret was engaging and definitely knows her town. The Pedway is definitely off the beaten path and having the opportunity to visit the Cultural Center (the old library) was a bonus. Note: this is a walking tour and includes steps but is not overly taxing.

I was visiting Chicago with my wife for the first time. We were looking for something fun and quirky, not your usual guide tour. Margaret was fantastic! Just enough information to provide us with some knowledge but not info overload. The disaster tour took us to a nice variety of places and was easily walkable. Margaret was very funny and... More

What a good choice. Take the time to take the Pedway tour of the tunnels under the city of Chicago. A leisurely walk from building to building and street to street. The tour guide is terrific and witty and anxious to share her knowledge and skills with you.
