This tour was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone who is visiting the city for a few days or has lived in the city for years. I have lived in the Chicagoland area my whole life and I was still able to learn so much about the city and all of it's delicious places to eat. The... More

They offered a great variety of deserts and a great tour of the city. I've been to Chicago many times, but have never had an experience like this. It felt like I was in a whole new city. I would definitely recommend this to anyone out of town or anyone local who wants something to do on a nice weekend.

I attended Amber Gibson’s Chicago dessert tour last Saturday, and I was totally surprised by it. I was expecting walking from shop to shop to taste their desserts, that’s all.. First we gathered at the “Frankie’s” in the Bloomingdale building along the ‘magnificent mile ‘of downtown Chicago, and started the wonderful tour with a plate of freshly made Italian cookies.... I would greatly recommend this tour to both those who are visiting Chicago for the first time and those who have seen the city before. You get to enjoy a variety of delicious desserts while seeing some of the city's landmarks and getting a bit of a history lesson from a very knowledgeable guide. All in all, it was a... More

A great way to pass the afternoon, and to get to know the city a bit better - even if you're a local. Three hours for five stops allowed the tour to progress at a liesurely pace (about half an hour at each stop), which is fantastic considering how much of each dessert there was! There was also enough time... More

I enjoyed the dessert tour very much. This dessert tour was a great experence and took me to some great restaurants in Chicago that I have never been to before. The tour was a nice walk around the famous "magnificent mile" in Chicago. We had chance to taste some delicious desserts such as cookies, brownies, carrot cake, and ice cream.... More

Excellent tour you can enjoy for an afternoon after lunch. We had a chance to site down at 5 different restaurants to enjoy their best desert. Not only the deserts were so tasty, i also learned many information from my tour guide, Amber Gibson, she explained to us the history of the Drake hotel's brownie, the story of the carrot... More

I had a lot of fun on this tour! It takes place mostly along the Gold Coast and Streeterville neighborhoods of Chicago, so the entire tour took place in and around some of the most beautiful buildings in the city. On the tour, we got to try everything from brownies to carrot cake to my favorite - the coconut meringue... More

This is a great tour for Chicago natives, visitors, and everything in between. I've often found myself sticking to a set of "safe restaurants" in Chicago, and this tour was a great way to break free from my routine. Each stop on the tour greeted us with delectable treats (the carrot cake, expresso brownie, and coconut meringue cookie were my... More

I've lived in Chicago since I was a baby, but I still found this tour worthwhile. It was not only delicious (the carrot cake is to die for!) but also informative--our tour guide was Amber, who had compelling things to share about each of our destinations and even a few places in between.
