This show just is not funny, tired jokes that constantly bash the President, it was boring. Saturday night live, that's funny when it comes to bashing our culture and the current administration. This was boring. Scripted, calculating, not funny. Sorry Second City, you've lost it...More

Richard, thank you for your feedback. Improv allows us the freedom to fail and test content. Because of that, sometimes our content hits and sometimes it misses. Sorry it missed with you this go-round.

Make it to The Second City every year or so. Best value in town. Always original and always funny. Love to watch the process of these developing improv artists. This time saw Infinite Sundaes, their house musical improv group. Very well done. Very entertaining. Very...More

went to the UP improv was decent, but jokes were a little tired and all revolved around one theme in general I guess dirty jokes never go out of favour, but expected a few dry/smart jokes

Thank you so much for your feedback. As true with improv some material hits and some misses. The freedom to fail is the power of improv.

I try to get Second City every couple of years. It is one of the best entertainment values in Chicago and the current cast was one of the best I have seen there. We were among the older attendees (our table had an age range...More

I saw a fantastic improv show on the main stage while visiting friends in Chicago. Only unfortunate part was that my friend got the start time wrong by a little bit and the seats are first come first serve. We got there right after the...More

None of us enjoyed the show-all 4 of us in our late 60's early 70's and one had been here before and thought it was great then but this show was just lame. Some acts like Suitcase in a Bag just made no sense and...More

Can't rate this above OK so, that, in itself, made it a disappointment. The troupe that gave us John Candy, Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Radner and Martin Short to name a few gave me high expectations which were not met, at least in this show, We...More

This show was spotty at best and juvenile at worst. They did about three political skits, their best, and the rest was lame unless you think a man snoring in bed then saying "I pooped my pants" is funny. One actor must have thought imitating...More

Our group of four, mothers with daughters, was set for anything but hoping to find common ground in the humor. We had a great time and laughed throughout the show. The improv segment, re-enacting history, was so funny we laughed until we had tears! It...More
