I love this city and I love this park but I don't love this fountain. I get it, it's clever and cute, but...meh. That said, children love it so it is worth stopping off on your way to the Bean.

Very neat! Wished the pictures changed more often. People with little kids loved it to keep them busy but close at hand and a great place to cool off

Right next to the "Bean" is this interesting fountain. You can watch the face of both of the fountains change. Then there is the surprise spit of water from the fountain.

We happened upon this during a walk to the Field Museum. We nearly missed the video playing on the "inside". Very entertaining!

This is near Cloud Gate and Millennium Park. I would say an awesome place for kids if you don't mind them getting wet. My husband and I went later in the day and there weren't many people. Really cool to see in person!

I've never seen a monument, statue or fountain like this before. That alone makes it worth seeing in my opinion. The faces change before your eyes. The people change, the expressions change and then water shoots out of the mouth. Wonderful. Make sure you see...More

A fun place to take a walk and cool off in the summer. I enjoyed seeing the fountain "spit" onto people running around below it. The park around it is clean and very pretty. Even walking by the fountains in the winter gives off a...More

Crown Fountain is not a swimming pool. It never gets deeper than your ankle. Nobody changes into bathing suits. They wade and kick and splash and little ones think it's heaven. Kick off your shoes and join the fun

The fountain's water feature operates from mid-spring thru' till mid-fall... so I guess it just depends on the weather in any particular year. Mid-fall is so ambiguous!!
