A unique fountain with a number of different faces that change every few minutes. It is part of the whole millennium park experience.

We loved it so much we went twice in 3 days. Day one there were a lot of children playing in the water which added to the joyful ambience. the moving photos are captivating and loved the fountain's otherwise understated design

Crown Fountain is not a swimming pool. It never gets deeper than your ankle. Nobody changes into bathing suits. They wade and kick and splash and little ones think it's heaven. Kick off your shoes and join the fun

The fountain's water feature operates from mid-spring thru' till mid-fall... so I guess it just depends on the weather in any particular year. Mid-fall is so ambiguous!!
