The CTA is a very quick and easy way to get around town. You must bundle up in the cold weather, since the platforms are outside (but heated), but it's reliable, safe, and cheap (transfers are free). Highly recommended for tourists.

You will need to find a station attendant to get you through the turnstiles. Children from 7-11 pay a reduced fare.

Given the time , I would strongly suggest a taxi or some other comparable ride service. The CTA is great during the day, but I would not travel on it at that hour. Not worth it to save a few dollars.
