While staying in the Hotel Raffaello we decided to hit this place up. Arrived around 2300 hrs and the place was fairly busy but not crazy packed. Blonde female bartender was completely rude! Every time i ordered drinks she was impatient and flat out could care less about the service i was receiving. She even managed to roll her eyes... More

I love the cocktails here. BUT here's the but. I have never in all the time I have lived here been able to sit down. All the tables are reserved and nobody turns up. Tonight my husband who is the most laid back person ever got quite cross. Seriously what do you have to do to get a table. We... More

Stumbled upon this bar with friends when we wanted one late night drink by the Drake. We couldn't sit outside but I will be back so we can- amazing outside space and you can see the John Hancock clearly from the space. The interior is cool and the drinks were pricey but great. We will be back.

This is a Fantastic space, with great drinks.....a true must do, roof top bar in Chicago. They have many original drinks, and it's set up with seating areas so you can have great conversations with your friends.

We stayed at the Raffello Hotel and went upstairs to the drum bar for a drink. Awesome atmosphere and decor. Good, original drinks. Highly recommend this classic bar for a night out with friends!!

Quite disappointed about this place. The location is nice the view too but not much more. The waitress was not really helpful. Cocktails were alright but not so tasty and really overpriced for the quality. WE ended up going to another place after for other drinks. Won't return- and I will recommend many other places before this one.

This has to be one of the best Whiskey bar in America. The roof top setting is second to none. I tried out for new scotch that has stayed in my home bar. Next time in Chicago, I'll be there again.

Speakeasies with fancy drinks are proliferating in Chicago. I've been to several, and this is the only one that matches high classic class without the snobby and snooty vibe. The decor is what I would picture of a plush cocktail lounge of yore, dim lights and wood panelled walls with Humphrey Bogart cockeyed at the bar. Maybe they're playing to... More

We went in August and for some reason the rooftop area was closed. Other than that, it was a great night! They played all the current hits and had plenty of seating and space to walk around. The drinks were delicious. Me and my girlfriends had a blast.

Hi there! Thank you for your review of Drumbar. We are truly sorry the rooftop was closed, it is typically because of private events. However, please return to us before the summer weather is gone and enjoy our patio as well as our happy hour from 8pm-10pm! More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
