First time. I'll go again

It was a great show with TJ and Dave. Easy to get to from the Red Line. Busy but didn't feel like we were crowded.

Clever, funny and you will laugh. I'm a tough audience for humor but you will smile ,chuckle and lol. Amazing repartee between the characters as they rhyme in Elizabethan time incorporating the ideas and stories from the audience. Very reasonably priced. Accommodation for hearing impaired. No headphones but tell them before hand and arrange seating in center first 3 rows.... More

My Girlfriend and I were visiting a friend in Chicago who bought us tickets to the Wednesday night TJ & Dave show. All theater of us have been in the theater scene for our entire lives an it was easily one of the best improv shows I've ever seen. Long-Form improv is difficult, yet these two performers carried the show... More

Just not our thing I guess. We went on a recommendation about how clever it was. I'm sure 20 somethings might get it, but too much for us in our 50s.

This troupe of 5 provides for a great evening of improvised comedy. Starting with an idea from the audience, they take it a run using the language of the Bard. The laughter from the audience was so loud that I occasionally missed the next line.

Took my 15 yr old son to Chicago for our father/son weekend and took in 5 different shows at the iO Chicago Theater! With 4 different theaters, iO offers improv at it's finest!! The Shakespeare Theater Company was especially noteworthy! Their ability to perform improv in "Shakespearian" style was amazing! Also worth mentioning, Whirled News Tonight Late Edition & the... AweSome venue for muSic!! The acousTics are so great!! We saw KD Lang, Viers and Case! So great! The gorgeous architecture is worth heading to this venue if you've never been. Lots of histoRic pictures adorn the venue downstairs, along with many opportunities to spend your Money on over priced snacks and beverages!

Saw a double program of 'Felt' followed by 'Cagematch' - great entertaining night. Super cheap at $5 a show and reasonable bar and table service pricing. Shows are pro-am in quality with some teams/acts having moments of excellence and others struggling but you can't fault the joy and enthusiasm of the performers craft. Highly recommended while in Chicago!

I lived in Chicago from 2007 to 2010. This was One of my favorite thing to do. Haven taken some improv classes I Truely appreciated it. So many talented performers and troupes. And very affordable. Where else can you get high quality comedy for $10. I can't recommend this place enough. I don't know if they are still around, but... More
